Description
This
is a Rare Vintage 1940 Program for the Cincinnati / Ohio “Taft Theatre”,
featuring advertising for the coming play “Hot Mikado” which starred Bill
Robinson. Bill “Bojangles” Robinson was perhaps the world’s greatest
Tap-Dancer, and starred in several Shirley Temple movies. He was one of the
highest paid Black entertainers of his day! The 8-page program is actually for
the play “Hamlet” which starred Maurice Evans, who was later popular for his
role as Dr. Zaius, in the Sci-Fi movie “Planet of the Apes”. There are some
great vintage Ads as well. The program is in Great condition, with only very
minor wear. Lucky Buyer pays successful amount, plus .00 shipping in the USA.
