t prop replica with no lights or sounds and only opens and closes as seen on the show without the ratcheted sound. All decals are professionally generated made of high gloss vinyl and applied to the product already.  The finish on the tricorder itself is high gloss and has been sitting in a display case for a number of years.  It is a resin product which is hollow and access to the interior can be obtained by the removable rear panel for the introduction of lighting if so desired.
