The Seychelles 10 Rupee banknote is part of the 1989 issues which was released by the Central Bank of Seychelles to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the Seychelles Peoples United Party. The banknotes obverse features four young pioneers saluting, the Central Bank of Seychelles headquarters building flanked by two sailfish, a torch, a turtle, and the bicentennial monument in Victoria. Flags and the Zonm Lib chainbreaker statue are also depicted. The reverse of the note features a man with a drum, five moutia dancers, and a dzendze ya shitsuva musical instrument. The 130 x 65 mm paper bill comes with a security thread and a watermark that shows the head of a black parrot. The note was printed by the American Bank Note Company and bears the signature of Guy Morel. This banknote that comes in uncirculated condition has been TAP authenticated.
