Format
Almost all items are
NTSC-J format
. This means they require the Japanese systems to play (there are a few exceptions, such as Game Boy).  Please understand this before buying, and make sure you can use the items you want to buy(for example the Famicom which needs an analog TV).

About our store, policies, and further details
General
The Japanese Retro Game Center is an eBay store for all things Japanese; in particular retro games but we have other items as well. The store is managed & run by a native English speaker living in Japan - so you will never have to worry about any descriptions or messages being lost in translation.
We love retro gaming
and want to give fans and collectors around the world the chance to own some great pieces of video gaming history from the source!
Pictures
We never use stock photos!!!
We always take more than one picture to show you more detail and everything you need to see about what you want to buy!  The only time the picture may not be exact is if we have a multiple quantity listing, where the items are similar enough to use the same picture.
Each auction is only for what you see in the pictures
.  Please check them before buying.
Condition
All items have been tested and work unless noted in our descriptions or conditions.
For battery backed-up games
we cannot guarantee the battery
. Almost all items in our store are
used
and we use the following scale to help provide a more detailed item description:
A
= Great condition: no major flaws with only slight markings from normal use on these item(s).
B
= May have noticeable marks, scratches, labels slightly torn, names marked, etc. on these item(s).
C
= Has fairly significant marks, scratches, etc. on these item(s). Pictures will show more detail.
Untested
= Did not test these item(s).
Junk
= Does not work or only partially works; As is.
Handling Time & Holidays
The order is processed within 24 hours, if not sooner, and will be shipped on weekdays that are not public holidays. Please be aware of the time difference between Japan and your location.
Any customs charges & fees will be the responsibility of the Buyer.

Refunds
