Near Perfect Kept Pelikan 155 Dark Blue Ballpoint Pen in original sales box.
RARE - LOW COST PEN - THAT IS HARD TO COME BY IN THIS CONDITION
As can be seen in the pictures, the barrel has the imprint T.S. BREMEN on it with a ship above it.
The T.S. ( for Turbine Ship ) Bremen was a famous German ocean liner that was launched in 1928 and scrapped in 1946.
It was one of the most advanced high-speed steam turbine ocean liners of its day.
The Bremen's New York pier was often the site of Anti-Nazi demonstrations during the 1930's
The ship was also mentioned in the Classic Irwin Shaw Story, Sailor off the Bremen.
The 155 and 255 line was a common pen for advertising and my guess is that is what this pen is.
I don't know, but I doubt that the pen was a tribute piece by Pelikan.
The pen features a unique version ( compared to current Pelikans ) of Pelikan's beak clip.
The band is not attached to the barrel, but lose when you unscrew the pen.

This ballpoint pen shows nearly no signs of use.
The beautiful glossy surface looks perfect.
Imprint on the center ring: Pelikan  ( attractive script )  and GERMANY on the back
Functions perfect and has no cracks or chips or hairline cracks.
