Very rare, this is a 18 page booklet, theater programme, with many local ads from the St. Louis, Missouri Victorian Era. Hopkins' Imperial Theatre Season 1899-1900, J.D. Hopkins, J.C. Jannopoulo Lessees, Sam W. Gumpertz, Manager, J.S. Rechnitzer Publisher.
Yep, the Samuel Gumpertz of Coney Island fame at his "Congress of Curious People and Living Curiosities". And, yes, the same that took over, in 1932, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
And J.C. Jannopoulo was later known for his Delmar Garden amusement park, the bar Anheuser Busch forced him to close, his 'takeover' of the Hagan Opera House Company, and other endeavors.
Little Lord Fauntleroy featured Alberta Noxon, Maurice Freeman, and more - you should be able to see via expanding the pictures.
