Souvenir Program, New York State Marine Amphitheatre, New York World's Fair, 1939, NYC.
The fair ran April to October and opened in NYC on 04/30/39 and closed on 10/27/40.  Inside are posed photos, headshot photos, bios, background and statistics and ads.   The cast includes Eleanor Holm, Johnny Weissmuller, Gertrude Eberle, Floyd Zimmerman, Everett Marshall, Frances Williams, Fred Waring's World's Fair Glee Club, Walter Dere Wahl, Marshall Wayne, Pete Desjardins, Sammy & Helen Howard, Jim Patterson, Hank Akers, Alf Phillips, Eddie Chamberlain, Ray Twardy and Norris "Corky" Kellam.  Music mostly by Dana Suesse and lyrics by Billy Rose and Ted Fetter.  Staged by John Murray Anderson and choreographed by Robert Alton.  The program is complete.

Condition is very good with minor surface wear including some light moisture staining on the bottom edge.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
