  • Condition: A beautiful Antique piece in general good state considering its age. The leather is dried and crackled, some paint work is chipped but not much, the bottom part including the wheels show rust, could be repainted to have it look like it used to be.

    Description

    Collectible Museum Piece, Victorian stroller from the late 1800's, made in France, Europe.
    Maker is unknown, No Markings.
    This piece was well taken care of, beside the dried out leather on the seat it is in excellent condition, especially considering its age of about 130 years!
    You lift the seat and it folds up, the back side can be adjusted so that the child can sit straight or lean back a bit.
    The seat and back are upholstered with leather, the leather is pretty dry and cracked, could be re upholstered but treating it with body lotion frequently will make it better, we already have treated it a bit and the leather did get better.
    The strollers carrying parts are metal, the arm rests and front is wood, paint is in beautiful state in black and gold details.
    The wheels are 12'' (30.5 cm) with brass hub caps. one hub cap is missing.
    Back handle for pushing is 37" (94 cm) high, width of the pram is 17'' (43 cm), the entire pram's length is 40'' (102 cm), seat is 10 1/4" x 11" (26 cm x 28 cm).
    This is a great collectible antique piece. I've never seen one like this before, was a great find.
    Please look at the pictures, so many details hard to explain.
    The pram can still be used! It is stable and can hold a child easily, it is just not very practical :)
    Would be an amazing photography prop for a photographer to take pictures of child with mother, amazing collector's piece, also wonderful to display very special dolls.
